S. Carter Studios officially began in May of 2006 in Lynchburg, VA. What started as a favor to a friend, has turned into a most fulfilling adventure. Over the years an interest in photography has developed into a passion for documenting the beautiful capacity to love and be loved that God has given to us.

 

This handsome guy with me in the photo to the left is my husband Josh. We tied the knot in 2009. He shoots on his own and with me as part of S. Carter Studios. He's talented, handsome and hilarious. 

 

Our goal is to truly capture the love between family members, the excitement and anticipation of engaged couples, and the moments of hope and endless potential at weddings. We bring our experience, training and creativity to every opportunity that we're given.
